Australia's Network Ten is to announce Tina as a mentor and Judge on the 2012 re-launch of the iconic Australian talent show "Young Talent Time", the very same show Tina starred on as a child.
YTT Executive Producer David Mott said that the network could't be more pleased to have Tina Arena back on Australian television.He described Tina as having already inspired generations of fans at home and internationally and said Tina was "a born entertainer who is passionate about fostering young talent".
In her first interview about the new YTT series, Tina said;
"I am really excited to be coming back and being involved in the re-launch of Young Talent Time. It is the "original" TV talent show format - it's unique and iconic but it's also typically Australian".
Preparation for Young Talent Time kicked off in September this year with auditions for the cast and talent quest taking place around Australia and attracting 30,000 young hopefuls.
Tina will be joined by TV presenter Rob Mills and another, soon-to-be-announced panelist.
