Hello,
For days i tried to contact anyone trying to get help as i was not sent a link to activate my account. I sent message after message but nothing, i'm not sure what the problem is but i've now had to register under another name using a friends email addy. I would like to re-open my account under my original username so can anyone help me?

Sorry but the email never arrived, it wasn't even in my junk box and that was why i sent you those emails via the site Leo.

I find this a little strange as this is what fans do, go on any site online for any artist and you'll see that fans like to use pictures of the artist. As i said i do think this is strange but of course i'll respect this rule.

Your choice of avatar was not considered majority offensive, we are simply trying to keep Tina's image as an avatar on the Village and the Forums exclusively for Tina herself. This allows her to have a recognizable presence here also, so she too can interact.
Unfortunately, you were one of the few members straying away from our recommendations and your actions may influence or offend other forum members.
The diversity of avatars currently registered shows that our members are ready to play the game and be creative.
So, please feel free to be as abstract or realistic as you wish. Either way, your image should fully represent YOU.

Hello,
Firstly i'd just like to point out that a recommendation is just that and not a rule. I would also like to point out that there is a massive difference between running a tight ship and a dictatorship. I have actually taken offence at the way you have tried to suggest that by my using a picture of Tina as my avatar it could offend members, i've never heard of anything so silly.
I don't want to be seen as a trouble maker as i'm not but i do believe in honesty.
Now back to my original problem, i've still not received my email so i guess i'm not going to now. Is there another way i can get the activation link?

About your original problem, it comes from you internet provider.
However, your registration IS confirmed.
You should try to log in as jallafala putting the password you provided when you registered.
About our avatar policy, you can consider it as a rule if the word "recommendation" is to polite to your opinion.

I think maybe you have made a poor choice of words during this and that's why i've been more direct than i'd normally be but as this problem has finally been fixed and i'm back on the forum under my own name i would just like to say THANK YOU.

fantastic site, but why did we have to srart from scratch and re-register? i was a member on the old website so why couldn't all of our old profiles be transfered to the new forum? i lost all my posts

Unfortunately, their was no safe way to transfer the datas from the old system.
